A close up on our ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ Vignette!

With the arrival of the totally amazing Menagerie collection by Rifle Paper Co./Anna Rifle Bond, and Cotton + Steel, we were so excited to use their awesome prints in one of our shop vignettes.

We took our inspiration from the fabric itself and now when you enter our West Hampstead store it is like walking into the jungle!

Our lady is all ready for her jungle adventure in her Closet Case Patterns Kalle Shirtdress made by the lovely Alice.

Fabric is the Menagerie – Jungle in Red quilting cotton and it also comes in natural and hunter green!

We love Alice’s patch pocket detail and the cute shell buttons she picked out to finish it off perfectly.

The Kalle is such a great pattern for casual wear or to be dressed up for work or a night out… or a stroll through the jungle of course!

Our lady is carrying her jungle essentials in her cross-body bag in Essex Yarn Dyed Metallic – Sand.

Every girl’s gotta have a sparkly handbag right? I will be sharing my tutorial to make your own cross-body bag here on The Daily Stitch soon!

Our lady’s stylish sun hat is all ready too… with added pom poms! These ones were made using the awesome Multipom tool!

Need a rest from your jungle stroll? Why not take a seat on our new jungle chair?!

As soon as we saw the Monstera in Natural Canvas we knew it had to be used for our next chair!

This is another Ikea purchase (the Stockholm 2017 chair) and we have re-covered the cushions in this gorgeous fabric.

You can learn to make your own chair box cushions just like these ones in my new class… find out more and sign up here!

Hanging above our vignette are our jungle macrame lanterns.

I used Susana Cunha’s modern macrame plant hanger tutorial and Hoooked Zpagetti t-shirt yarn for these. You can make them to fit any sized jar, plant pot or other container you like. Super simple and a great relaxing craft. You can also check out our upcoming Macrame classes here.

Our Crafty Mamas have been busy during our Thursday baby club making our jungle foliage which really sets the scene perfectly. We used templates from Paper Parties by Erin Hung and added some jungle bling with gold paint and glitter!

Caroline also made this lovely Monstera leaf using our paper flower making supplies!

We hope you enjoyed reading all about our Jungle vignette as much as we enjoyed creating it!
