Our Make Like a Boss networking series for creative small businesses kicked off last Wednesday with a great first event featuring Rachel and Kate from The Fold Line and it was such a success! Minor technical difficulties aside, everyone had a great time and we’re really looking forward to seeing everyone again in May. Plus, our Facebook Group is now active, so if you missed the first event you can get in on the conversation and connect with other creative small business women by joining the group.
Hosted at The Village Haberdashery in West Hampstead, each Make Like a Boss features a Q&A with a small business owner followed by time to hang out and chat, learn, share, moan and come away with some new contacts and ideas for your business. The events are free and drinks and snacks are provided!
In May, we’ll be chatting to Suzie Dicker from À L’aise! À L’aise is a luxury stationery and leather goods brand that launched in 2015 and is stocked in stores such as Anthropologie, Fenwicks and The Design Museum. Suzie also does calligraphy for brands such as Aspinal of London, Clinique and House of Fraser. We’ll be talking to Suzie about launching and building her company and how her product range has grown and evolved plus we’ll get her advice for getting your products manufactured and how to work with working with big brand clients. You can sign up for our May event on Eventbrite.
